Malta is a country made up of an entire group of islands, the three main ones being: Malta, Gozo and Comino. A really small nation, just think that by car you can get from one end of the main island to the other in just over an hour.

Yet, the country has played an extremely important role in history. In Malta there are historical relics dating back 5000 years, considered among the oldest remaining on earth.

The islands have seen all sorts of rulers over the centuries: medieval knights passed through here, it was an English colony, it played a significant role in both world wars and it is now a member of the European Union.
