The Collio and the Wines

In no other settlement in the Gorizia Collio area can one breathe in the Habsburg past of this territory as in Cormòns, which remained under Austrian control from the early 16th century until 1914.

A popular destination for food and wine tourism, the village of Cormòns is a regional hub for wine production, as well as for the sale of Friulian culinary specialties such as smoked ham, dairy cheeses, radicchio, turnips, and asparagus.
